Leeds United vs Millwall kick-off time explained as FA Cup fourth ...

Leeds United host Millwall at Elland Road on Saturday for the first of two times in the next five-and-a-half weeks when they meet this weekend in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

They face off again mid-next month during a midweek round of Championship fixtures. Therefore, much like the reverse fixture at The Den in early November, that match will also kick off at 7:45pm.

But despite last March's fixture in LS11 kicking off at the traditional 3pm time, that is not the case this weekend. As when Leeds last visited south-east London on the weekend, it is again an early start for both supporters this Saturday.

On that occasion, the first time the two clubs had played in three-and-a-half years, Sky Sports chose to broadcast the fixture, picking a noon kick-off slot. There is no such domestic broadcast to consider this time, but Leeds fans still face a lunchtime kick-off, albeit with an extra quarter of an hour to get to the ground for a 12:15pm start.

That is the same time Leyton Orient welcome Manchester City to Brisbane Road live on the BBC, but 15 minutes before Sky shows Sunderland host Watford in the Championship. The decision is said to be on police advice, reports The Telegraph.

Millwall have an allocation of just over 2,000, with the club confirming on Friday close to that figure are coming up from Bermondsey on Saturday morning. That, however, is around half of the allocation given to Harrogate Town in the third round, which they sold out in a record away following for the League Two team.

This weekend's is more in line with Championship allocations, with Leeds having 2,022 tickets for the league meeting in November. Millwall boss Alex Neil had his say on the prospect of facing the Championship leaders, who were beaten 1-0 by Millwall in that November meeting.

"You've got to give Leeds the respect they deserve," he said. "They just went and won 7-0.

"I know we beat Leeds this season already, but they're a talented team, there's no question about it. "They're top of the league for a reason.

"It's going to be a tough game for us. We've got a couple of guys that are cup-tied, so that doesn't help.

"I think Leeds away is probably the one venue right now across the league that is arguably the toughest. "But these types of games in the past Millwall have done particularly well in, so it'll be an interesting match."

Leeds return to Championship action when they Watford on Tuesday night.
