Team news: Daniel Farke names XI to face Sheffield Wednesday ...

Leeds United are on home turf at Elland Road this afternoon as they face local rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the Sky Bet Championship.

Daniel Farke has named a strong starting XI for the match, following our win in the Emirates FA Cup last weekend.

Illan Meslier starts in net for the fixture, and his defense includes captain Ethan Ampadu, Joe Rodon, Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram.

Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka link up in the Leeds United midfield, whilst Dan James, Manor Solomon, Brenden Aaronson and Joel Piroe feature in our attack.

The substitutes bench consists of goalkeeper Karl Darlow, Junior Firpo, Willy Gnonto, Largie Ramazani, Max Wöber, Mateo Joseph, Ilia Gruev, Josuha Guilavogui and Isaac Schmidt.
