Hello and welcome to today's coverage from BirminghamLive as Aston Villa look to stop the rot off the back of four-straight defeats. Head coach Steven Gerrard is looking to do the double over his former mentor, Brendan Rodgers, following Villa's 2-1 win at Villa Park in the reverse fixture back in early December.
Gerrard, 41, will be without Kortney Hause, Morgan Sanson, Bertrand Traore and Lucas Digne, the latter ruled out for several weeks due to undergoing collarbone surgery.
As for Leicester, Rodgers has confirmed that Jamie Vardy will make his long-awaited return having missed the Foxes last 10 matches with a knee issue. City will, though, be without long-term absentees Wilfried Ndidi, Boubakary Soumare and ex-Villa loanee Ryan Bertrand.
Ahead of kick-off, Villa sit in 15th position having dropped a few places following their recent run of form. Those below them - Leeds, Everton and Burnley - are in action on Sunday and Monday.
Stay with us for all of the pre-game build-up at Leicester as Villa look to finally put an end to their wretched run. Club writer Ashley Preece will be in the press box providing updates, below .
