Leicester will be looking to end a three-match winless run in the Premier League when they host Watford on Sunday.

The Foxes were second best in all departments as they suffered a 3-0 loss to Chelsea last weekend. That result leaves Leicester down in 12th place in the table and there are already concerns that a top-four place will be beyond them this term. Brendan Rodgers’ side came close to qualifying for the Champions League in each of the last two seasons, but that will be a great deal more difficult this time around.

Leicester did at least bounce back with a 3-1 victory over Legia Warsaw in the Europa League on Thursday night. Rodgers will be keen for his team to pick up another victory here, as Leicester seek to build momentum heading into a particularly hectic December.

Claudio Ranieri returns to the King Power Stadium, the home of its greatest ever triumph as a manager, looking to build on last weekend’s thumping 4-1 victory over Manchester United. The focus after that match was inevitably on United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but Watford will have taken numerous positives from an excellent all-round display.

The Hornets struck five goals past Everton last month and scored four times against United, but they drew blanks in their three other games under Ranieri. The Italian will be looking to make his promising attack more consistent going forward.

Leicester will have to make do without Wesley Fofana, Youri Tielemans, James Justin and Ricardo Pereira this weekend, but Jonny Evans is in line to start after a minor thigh problem.

Watford will be unable to call upon the services of Peter Etebo, Francisco Sierralta, Christian Kabasele, Ken Sema, Kwadwo Baah and Nicolas N'Koulou. Juraj Kucka is available again after a ban and Ismaila Sarr is expected to be fit after a minor knee injury.
