Fans are mourning Lil Bo Weep’s death after her father announced that the musician had passed away at the age of 24.

The Australian singer and YouTuber’s death has shocked fellow musicians and her loyal community of fans.

Emotional tributes have poured in amid the singer’s death and many have said she was a “kind soul” who inspired their music.

Lil Bo Weep has passed away at the age of 24, fellow musician Smrtdeath confirmed in a Twitter post on Sunday, March 6th.

“Rest in peace Winona”, he wrote, followed by a photo of them together.

In an emotional tribute posted on Facebook, the singer’s father called her “my hero” and asked for privacy while he mourns the death of his daughter.

Lil Bo Weep, real name Winona Brooks, was from Adelaide, Australia and started uploading music on SoundCloud in 2015. Her account had amassed 36k followers.

One of her best-known singles is I wrote that song 4 u which got released in 2016 and was then uploaded to Spotify in 2017. She also collaborated with Smrtdeath on the 2020 song Far Away.

The singer had gained an international base of fans with 123,000 subscribers on YouTube and 11k followers on TikTok.
