Liverpool vs Brentford LIVE! - LIVE! Premier League match stream, latest score and goal updates today
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are out to cement their spot as Manchester City’s chief title rivals when they welcome Brentford to Anfield this afternoon.
Chelsea’s defeat at the Etihad yesterday left them 13 points off the pace but Liverpool can cut their deficit to eight points by winning both of their games in hand over City.
That starts today with a rematch of the epic 3-3 draw shared between the Reds and Bees in West London earlier this season.
Thomas Frank’s side have adapted to Premier League life nicely and can climb as high as tenth with an unlikely three points on Merseyside.
But a humbling at Southampton in midweek means Brentford have lost three of their last four in the league, while Liverpool are on a run of three league games without a win themselves.

Brentford held Liverpool to a thrilling 3-3- draw in September and Thomas Frank wants to go toe to toe with them again this afternoon.
Speaking ahead of kick-off, Frank said: “We did it once. We all know it is that consistency to do it twice.
“It is very rare that a team comes here to Anfield and goes toe to toe with Liverpool. Our ambition is to do the same.
“We need to defend like beasts for 90 minutes. We will try to be front-footed and positive.”
Jurgen Klopp has been speaking before the game and has explained his team selection.
“We had knocks after the Arsenal game but no injuries or Covid cases,” said the Liverpool manager. “We played Thursday-Sunday, it is a short break.
“We just want to bring four fresh legs. That is the reason for the change.
“Curtis had a massive impact in the game against Arsenal when he came on and Oxlade is in a really good moment so we have to unleash these boys.”

Jonathan Moss takes charge of today's match, with Marc Perry and Timothy Wood his assistants and Tony Harrington the fourth official.
Today's VAR is Lee Mason, with Derek Eaton his assistant.
Thomas Frank makes just one change, with Rico Henry returning to the Brentford team for the first time since December 22.
He replaces Sergi Canos at left wing-back.
So Jurgen Klopp makes two changes from the Liverpool team that drew 0-0 with Arsenal.
Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain come in in place of Takumi Minamino and James Milner.
There is no place in the squad for Thiago Alcantara, who again misses out.
Brentford XI: Fernandez, Ajer, Jansson, Pinnock, Roerslev, Janelt, Norgaard, Baptiste, Henry, Mbeumo, Toney
