Lorraine Kelly set to become grandmother as daughter Rosie announces pregnancy

Lorraine Kelly 'cannot wait' to become a grandmother, after her daughter Rosie Smith announced that she is pregnant. The 29-year-old daughter of Scottish TV presenter Kelly and Steve Smith announced the happy news on social media - sharing a snap of herself cradling a baby bump.
Another image of a framed sonogram followed, revealing that Smith is at least 12 weeks pregnant - with writing underneath, reading: "The bean at 12 weeks – the size of a fig." Alongside the post, the podcaster, wrote: "We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one." ITV host Lorraine shared the snap on her own Instagram soon after, writing: "THE most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family!
"Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news EVER!"
Rosie's partner, Steve White, also posted a picture of their dog sporting a bandana, which had 'only child' scribbled out to read 'big sister'. He also joked that their mini wire-haired dachshund Ruby 'might have some competition later this year'.
And Lorraine's ITV colleagues were among the first to offer congratulations, with GMB presenter Charlotte Hawkins, rushing to the comments to write: "Oh my goodness what amazing news! So special."
Ria Hebden, went on: "Congratulations Lorraine, wonderful blessings and you’ll be such a fabulous Grandma xx" while RuPaul’s Drag Race judge Michelle Visage, commented: "THRILLED FOR YOU ALL."
The mother and daughter duo host a podcast together called What If? which discussed life-defining turning points with celebrity guests. Kelly has also presented her own chat show with ITV since 2010.
