Louise Minchin: Why I'm A Celebrity star could be coping without family better than others

 What I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers may not know is that Louise Minchin, 53, has previously been away from her loved ones for a fair amount of time beforehand on Channel 4 show Time Crashers. Could this be why she seems to be coping well in the Castle?

Back in 2015, the ex BBC Breakfast star admitted it was tough being away from her husband David and two daughters for the first time with no contact at all.

The 53-year-old is currently going through the same process alongside her nine fellow celebrities.

Speaking about being away from her everyday life at the time, she said: "I’m addicted to news, I listen to the radio, watch the television and monitor websites and social media all the time, so I thought being removed from that would be really difficult.

"But, far more difficult than that was not being able to speak to my family and friends, particularly my husband and daughters.

This changed last month however when Louise's husband David reacted to one of her Bushtucker Trials.

David was seen pulling a shocked face to the television, while sat with the family dog Ruby. 

In view of her 99,000 followers, a caption read: "Husband Dave and Ruby watching last nights trial.

"Well done @snoochieshy. We can’t wait to see their faces when it’s Louise’s turn."
