A Love Island star has reportedly quit the show in a shock move.

In shock scenes not yet aired, the islander quits after their partner is dumped from the villa. 

The contestant made the move after Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson left, following a dramatic Movie Night.

A source told The Sun: "The villa is so full that people are sleeping on the day beds."

The source continued: "So producers decided it was a good idea to trim the fat and called another dumping soon after Movie Night.

"What they were not expecting was the partner of the individual axed wanting to leave.

"That rarely ever happens. And the person was one of the most popular in the villa.

"There are also more bombshells on the way that they could have had a better connection with."

Elsewhere, two new bombshells are set to enter the Love Island villa. 

Uma receives a text which reads: “Mimii, Jessy and Uma, it’s time to get ready as Reuben and Josh want to take you out for drinks! Please get ready to leave the Villa. #FreshFacesNewPlaces #TogetherWeDate”
