Minute 90+1: GOAL!!! MAHREZ WAS ONSIDE!!!Manchester City have that fourth goal they've been chasing. Riyad Mahrez was initially ruled offside, but VAR proves he was just on and his fine finish counts. It's 4-1.
Minute 88: Gundogan misses badlyIt could have been four for Manchester City as they fashion another chance, but this time they're not so clinical as Ilkay Gundogan fires wide and off target. It's still 3-1 as we approach stoppage time.
Minute 85: Ole, ole, oleThe fans at the Etihad have started chanting "ole" at each pass their team completes, which is many. They're keeping possession away from Manchester United, who need to score quickly.
Minute 81: Cancelo's volley is well-savedThat looked like it was going in! After the ball eventually drops after spending what seemed like an eternity in the air, Joao Cancelo produces a volley that is going towards the far corner, only for De Gea to make a great save.
Minute 75: The City fans are enjoying thisChants ring out around the Etihad, with the Manchester City fans enjoying this one. They've not won this fixture in a while, but are very much on course to do so here.
Minute 68: GOAL!!! MAHREZ WITH THE VOLLEY!!!Wow, what a strike! A corner is played all the way to Mahrez at the far side of the penalty area and his volley goes all the way in. It takes a touch off Maguire, but that was still a beauty to make it 3-1.
Minute 61: De Gea denies De Bruyne his hat-trickManchester City have a freekick just outside the penalty area and by the half-circle, with De Bruyne stepping up to take it. But, De Gea is able to parry and to deny the Belgian his hat-trick. Well, at least for now...
Minute 54: Scott McTominay cuts out Foden's crossManchester City win the ball back high up the pitch and quickly get bodies in the box. As Foden looks to pick out a pass, Scott McTominay manages to get in the way and cut it out, preventing the danger.
Minute 52: Ederson collects Fernandes' crossBruno Fernandes gets the ball in an advanced position and looks to put the ball into a dangerous area, but Ederson is alert and able to gather, getting the home side back on the attack.
Minute 49: Wide from FodenPhil Foden has a chance very similar to one he had in the first half, as he cuts in from the left and fires past the far post. He looks frustrated as he knows that was a good opportunity.
Minute 46: The second half kicks off!We're back underway at the Etihad. Manchester City have the lead and have been the better side, but their lead is just one goal, so they'll surely look to add to that.
Half time: Manchester City lead thanks to De BruyneThat was a thrilling first half, with chances from start to finish. Manchester City have been the better side, but they only lead by one as a Jadon Sancho finish was sandwiched between two Kevin de Bruyne goals. Let's see what the second half of this Manchester derby brings.
Minute 44: De Gea makes a great saveAfter that mishap, De Gea now does what he does best, making saves. Riyad Mahrez unleashes a dangerous strike, but the Spaniard gets a hand to it to keep his side in the game.
Minute 42: De Gea rushes out and doesn't get thereDavid de Gea rushes out of his area and ends up in no man's land. The goalkeeper is lucky that the ball didn't break for Jack Grealish to have the easiest of derby goals.
Minute 40: Just wide from FodenManchester City are still on top and create another chance. It's De Bruyne involved again, with Phil Foden taking the shot. It rolls wide, but not by very much at all.
Minute 28: GOAL!!! IT'S DE BRUYNE AGAIN!!!Foden has a shot saved by De Gea, but United can't clear. There are two rebounds and De Bruyne fires in with the second of them for his second goal and to make it 2-1. The Etihad goes wild with delight.
Minute 25: Foden's header bounces off the crossbarThat was a very weird chance. Foden, from some distance, leans back to get his head on the ball. And, it loops all the way onto the crossbar. That would have been the strangest of goals.
Minute 21: GOAL!!! SANCHO EQUALISES!!!Jadon Sancho scores against his former club, making it 1-1. He loses Kyle Walker and then fires brilliantly into the bottom corner. It's a great goal and makes it 1-1. This has been a lively start.
Minute 17: De Gea denies De BruyneManchester City could have scored a second and it was De Bruyne again. He gets off a low show that looks like it might sneak in, but De Gea puts out a strong hand to keep the deficit at just one goal.
Minute 12: Pogba is too slowManchester United do well to work the ball to Paul Pogba, who could have hit a shot first time. But, he was too slow and is crowded out very quickly. Pogba, frustrated, then gives away a freekick.
Minute 9: Ederson denies FredFred manages to make some space for himself inside the Manchester City penalty area, but Ederson comes out quickly to close him down. That was a vital intervention.
Minute 5: GOAL!!! DE BRUYNE GIVES CITY AN EARLY LEAD!!!Manchester City are 1-0 up already. It's a perfect start for the Sky Blues, as Bernardo Silva gets to the byline and cuts it back for the onrushing De Bruyne, who fires past David de Gea.
