Fulham boss Silva rubbishes kite flying claims: We will fight to beat Man City
Fulham boss Marco Silva has rubbished kite flying claims amongst his players.
There's concerns about Fulham's motivation facing Manchester City today after clips showed their players flying kites in midweek.
Silva snapped on Friday: "You're asking me something that I don't even know the story about. If they're doing something after matches or training, its not going to be a problem. To start this conference talking about a social media video is weird to me when there is more to talk about.
"Don't expect this was happening during our sessions or training sessions, this was during their break.
"We prepared well, we will do our maximum, not do favours for anyone."
On their motivation, he said: "It's not something that I need to spend time with my players on, because they know the demand every single day. If they're relaxed, I'm the first to put pressure on them."
Silva also stated: "We are going to do our job, like we've been doing this season. We're preparing well and we'll do our maximum.
"They [Manchester City] are in a great fight with Arsenal, but it's not for us to talk about. We are going to fight for the result."
