Simon Bajkowski revealed the news of their absence via his official X account with the pair both unavailable due to illness. Erling Haaland however, has returned to training and has returned to the City squad today. It is a boost for the champions to have their top scorer available after he missed City’s past two games. Pep Guardiola will be hoping his team can pick up where they left off after their 4-nil win over Brighton on Thursday night.
