Michael Olise’s memories against Manchester United - News
Palace scored another spectacular goal in their last outing away to Fulham, with Olise saying of Jeffrey Schlupp’s late wondergoal: “It's probably one of the best goals we’ve scored this season.
“Coming off the back of three wins, it was good to get the draw. Even though we’d have liked to win. It was still good.”
As for his own season, Olise admitted that it has been a frustrating one with the need to recover from long-term injury – but also stressed he remains as hungry as ever to keep improving.
“I think it's been a bit tough mentally and physically, to keep getting injured,” he said.
“But also, you know that you can come back from it, so you just try and take the positives, try and stay mentally in a good space – and from there, that's it really. You can't do much about it. It's football.
“I think the club helps, obviously, a lot. The physios here and staff, day-to-day ,will help a lot. Obviously, family, friends outside of football [give me support]. And then myself, really.
“Me, personally, I just use every opportunity to try and get better every day - if it's a little bit, if it's a lot, whatever the day allows, really. I’m very hungry [to improve].”
