McDonald's has launched a new Happy Meal that's the first of its kind in Ireland.
The fast food chain has partnered with two of the world’s iconic Japanese franchises to launch Ireland's first anime Happy Meal.
From May 8th to June 18th, each Happy Meal will come with either one of ten Yu-Gi-Oh! X or Hello Kitty and Friends plush toys, or one of two Little People Big Dreams books: ‘I Can Be an Awesome Performer’ or ‘I Can Be a Curious Scientist’.

Customers dining in restaurants will also receive either a Hello Kitty or Yami-Yugi headband, flag and activity sheets.
The anime Happy Meal takeover coincides with Hello Kitty celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, whilst Yu-Gi-Oh! has its 25th Card Game anniversary.
The limited-edition anime Happy Meal is available in McDonald's restaurants from May 8th to June 18th, 2024.
