As originally reported by TMZ, the couple split over Thanksgiving weekend after four years together. Representatives of Fox’s did not respond Vogue’s request for comment.
Fox recently announced that she was pregnant with their first child in a moody Instagram post that showed her covered in black, oily body paint. “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” she wrote in the caption—seemingly a nod to the actor’s miscarriage, which she described in her 2023 collection of poetry, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.
Fox and Kelly first confirmed their relationship back in May 2020, after months of rumors, when she appeared in his music video for “My Bloody Valentine.” When they got engaged in 2022, Kelly proposed with a ring by jeweler Stephen Webster that featured both Fox’s birthstone, an emerald, and Kelly’s birthstone, a diamond.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma,” Fox wrote on Instagram about her engagement. “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.”
However, their relationship has been on and off: In 2023, Fox attended the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party without her engagement ring. Months later, they posed together again on the red carpet. It remains to be seen whether or not this separation will be a permanent one.
Previously, Fox was married to actor Brian Austin Green. They share three children together: Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7.
