The Mission Impossible and Top Gun star stopped off at the Restaurant Lovage in the Peak District

Tom Cruise left Midlands restaurant staff delighted after popping in for dinner while filming Mission Impossible. Tom thrilled staff when he went to the Restaurant Lovage in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

The Hollywood star has been busy in the area. The 61-year-old, who will star again as Impossible Mission Force agent Ethan Hunt, filmed a car chase at Middleton Mine recently near Matlock in the area.

Cruise had been seen sitting in a beaten-up 4x4 on Tuesday (March 5) while filming the next instalment of his action movie franchise in a local mine. But he swapped such dusty scenes for a dinner at the Michelin guidebook restaurant with his team.
