BBC Breakfast presenter Naga Munchetty has come under fire from fans on social media after she tweeted a picture following a run, after lighting up a cigarette in another post earlier this month. Despite the backlash, the popular presenter has not yet commented on the criticism.
Munchetty has been a regular on BBC Breakfast since 2009, and has become a popular figure among viewers. She has also appeared on a number of other BBC programmes, including Newsnight and The Andrew Marr Show.
Despite the recent criticism, it seems unlikely that Munchetty will be stepping down from her role on BBC Breakfast any time soon. Fans of the show will no doubt be looking forward to seeing her back on their screens in the near future.
