The women senior netball teams are set to depart on Sunday for the Africa Regional netball world cup qualifiers which will be held in Pretoria from the 21st -27th August. The twelve local girls will be competing against other teams in the hopes of qualifying for the world cup.

BONA Public Relation Officer (PRO) Mokeresete Mokeresete expressed her confidence in the team, stating that they have been working hard and are well-prepared for the upcoming qualifiers. The team is determined to represent their country well and bring home a win.

What is Netball?

Netball is a popular team sport played by women all over the world. It is similar to basketball, but with a few key differences, such as the absence of backboards and the restriction of players to certain areas of the court. The objective of the game is to score points by shooting the ball through a hoop located at each end of the court.
