Mango Goes Big in New York

Mango has chosen the big Apple to inaugurate a 1,200sq m store on Fifth Avenue, at number 711.
The store will be located in the Plaza District in a historic building from the late 1920s, recognised for its elegance and beauty, which has housed other major companies.
“The opening of the new flagship store on Fifth Avenue represents a major step forward for Mango as part of its omni-channel development strategy in the US,” said Daniel López, Mango’s Head of Expansion and Franchising. “Having a store with these characteristics in one of the most prestigious locations and with the largest footfall on the continent will allow us to increase the recognition of our brand, both in the American market and internationally,” concludes López.
The Spanish company, present in the US since 2006, expects to be able to inaugurate the store, which will include the women’s, men’s and children’s lines, in the first half of 2022. This new opening will be the ninth in the US and will be included in the plan of expansion that the brand is carrying out in the country, announced at the end of 2020. In the last year it has opened four stores, in the Menlo Park and American Dream shopping centres, both in New Jersey, Roosevelt Field in New York and Dadeland in Miami, in Florida.
