They are missing a clinical edge, and Newcastle will have to come out after the break with more motivation and aggression. Ahmedhodzic headed Hamer’s cross in and he probably shouldn’t be the only player in yellow on the scoresheet. Brereton Diaz rounded Dubravka but was met by Burn, as was Archer. He has been a brick wall at times, and his commitment was rewarded when Isak levelled the game. It could be the game that puts Sheff U back into the Championship but they have aren’t going out with ruffling the feathers, Newcastle need to improve if they are to put pressure on their league rivals.

Dubravka denies Brereton Diaz! Again the away side look dangerous everytime they get the ball, and the Chilean beat Schar again before blasting a shot that Dubravka had to parry.

This game has a great flow and speed to it. Newcastle have wrestled back control after falling behind, but Sheff U look dangerous on the counter-attack, and Bogle just couldn't collect a through ball.
