LIVE: Follow all the action right here as Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham side travel to St James' Park to take on Newcastle United in the Saturday lunchtime Premier League game

Hello and welcome to football.london's live coverage of Tottenham's Premier League match against Newcastle United.

Victorious six days ago following a 3-1 home triumph over Nottingham Forest, Spurs will be looking to make it successive wins when they make the trip to Tyneside.

Saturday's game at St James' Park will bring back some very bad memories of last season's 6-1 demolition but hopefully there will be a positive outcome this time around for Tottenham fans.

Newcastle United will go into this weekend's fixture in confident mood after securing a 1-0 win at Fulham one week ago that has strengthened their European aspirations.

It is a big game for both sides in regards to their goals for the 2023/24 Premier League season and it could once again prove to be a very entertaining game for the neutral.

We will hear the official team news at 11.30am (UK time) this morning, an hour before the scheduled kick-off time of 12.30pm. You can follow that, and extensive coverage of the match, in our dedicated live blog below with Alasdair Gold and Rob Guest.
