Week 18 of the NFL season features 13 afternoon games as the playoff field takes shape. Follow along for live updates.
With last year’s No. 1 selection, Jacksonville plucked Trevor Lawrence, a highly touted quarterback prospect from Clemson. Lawrence was seen by some as holding the same kind of promise that the likes of Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck did when they entered the NFL, but he labored through a rough rookie season for a franchise that underwent turmoil involving since-departed head coach Urban Meyer. Some Jacksonville fans showed their continued disdain for the team’s organization by wearing clown makeup and costumes to Sunday’s home game. Between weeks 9 and 17, Lawrence threw just two touchdown passes, but he had two on Sunday alone as his Jags upset a Colts team that needed to win to make the playoffs and was favored by 14 points.
