Comedian Nick Swardson Escorted Offstage During Disastrous Set
Comedian Nick Swardson promised to make up for his stand-up show in Beaver, Colorado, after he was booed and escorted off stage.
Footage recorded by Sean Guy from Swardson’s headline performance on March 3 captures growing dissatisfaction and confusion amongst the audience during his set, as people can be heard remarking “How bad is this?”, while others leave their seats.
Swardson tries to regain control of the crowd as the heckling increases, auditorium lights are turned on and his mic is cut before he is escorted off stage.
A man who identifies himself as the director of operations then takes the stage to apologize.
“We decided to conclude the show early in the best interests of those who bought tickets,” he says in the video.
“We apologize for what you’ve seen tonight, please email the box office, we’ll be responding to inquiries and processing credits and refunds."
In a post on X, Swardson addressed the performance writing: “Just casually woke up on TMZ. Travel tip: don’t drink and take edibles in high altitude. F**king brain diarrhea. I’ll make it up to you Beaver Creek!” Credit: Sean Guy via Storyful
