Christian Eriksen was handed his full Brentford debut for their away match with Norwich in the Premier League.

The 30-year-old came off the bench last weekend during the side's 2-0 home defeat against Newcastle.

Bees boss Thomas Frank hinted during the week that Eriksen could be in line for his first start at Carrow Road, and the Danish coach was true to his word as he brought the midfielder in to his team.

This completes a remarkable turnaround for Eriksen, who suffered a cardiac arrest during Denmark's opening group match against Finland at last year's European Championships.

Saturday's match will be refereed by Anthony Taylor, the same match official who was in charge when Eriksen collapsed on the pitch in Copenhagen in June.

Taylor was widely praised for his swift response to the incident as he swiftly ordered medics onto the pitch to assist Eriksen.

Frank also made two other changes to his starting line-up as Sergi Canos and Ivan Toney were recalled.

Meanwhile, hosts Norwich rang the changes following their midweek loss at Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Grant Hanley, Brandon Williams, Kenny McLean, Billy Gilmour and Josh Sargent were brought back into the side by manager Dean Smith.
