City beaten by late Ronaldo penalty
Norwich City were beaten by a late Cristiano Ronaldo penalty at Carrow Road, as Manchester United triumphed 1-0 in the Premier League.

However, City went within inches of replying immediately when Kabak met a flighted ball into the area but De Gea saved at full stretch.

City continued to probe for an equaliser and a Gilmour shot took a deflection and looked destined to nestle in the far corner, however the ball somehow curled round the wrong side of the post.

Despite their efforts, Ronaldo should have made it 2-0 with just five minutes left when Marcus Rashford skipped past Sorensen and played a low cross into the area, but he could only stab the ball over from six yards.

Five minutes were signalled when the 90 was done, as Carrow Road got behind their team one last time and de Gea once again saved United when he superbly kept out substitute Pierre Lees-Melou's goalbound header.

But it wasn't to be for City, as Ronaldo's penalty proved decisive.
