This is a hugely important game, to say the least ????

Chris Sutton has now shared his prediction for Saturday’s Premier League clash between Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.

This really is an enormously significant game for the Garibaldi – to say the very least.

Just a single point separates Nottingham Forest from Luton Town – who sit 18th.

Even Burnley – who looked dead and buried under Vincent Kompany – could leapfrog Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side on Saturday if they beat Newcastle and the Reds lose.

Therefore, nothing but a win will satisfy the City Ground faithful.

So, what does Chris Sutton expect to happen in the Premier League clash between Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest? Let’s take a look…

Chris Sutton predicts Sheffield United vs Nottingham Forest

Well, the 51-year-old believes Nuno will lead Nottingham Forest to victory at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

MORE FOREST STORIES

An 89th minute strike from Chris Wood helped Nottingham Forest defeat the Blades by a 2-1 scoreline at the City Ground back in August, and Sutton now expects the Reds to take another three points from Sheffield United.

The man born in Nottingham told BBC Sport: “This has to be seen as an open goal for Nottingham Forest.

“They did well against Manchester City last week despite being beaten, but now they need to follow that up with a repeat performance that gets them the result they need.

“Forest’s focus has to be on how they play, rather than who the referee is or video assistant referee. If they can do that, they should beat a fragile-looking Sheffield United, who are already down.”

Sutton then ended his segment by predicting a 2-0 win for Nottingham Forest.

Nuno must get his players focused

There are a lot of distractions for Nottingham Forest players heading into this Premier League clash.

Firstly, Luton Town play Everton on Friday night, so the Reds could be in the relegation zone by the time tomorrow’s game against Sheffield United kicks off, which may potentially unnerve a few players.

Nottingham Forest have also dived head first into a debate about officiating with the Premier League, something the players simply cannot allow to distract them.

It is time to take responsibility on the pitch, rather than blame the – albeit poor – standard of decision making from officials.

Hopefully, Nottingham Forest can defeat Sheffield United – or else relegation fears will start to become very intense.
