A fire cordon has been put up

Nottingham's Victoria Centre has been taped off - and shoppers have been evactuated.

According to eyewitnesses at the scene everyone inside the shopping centre was evacuated shortly before 12pm on Saturday, November 20.

Crowds of people are gathered outside and a fire cordon has been put up at the Upper Parliament Street junction.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service told Nottinghamshire Live: "There is an ongoing incident. We have three appliances at the scene."

No further details were given at this time.

Videos from the scene show people being made to leave the shopping centre while firefighters are stationed at the cordon.
