Marmoush reflects on 'amazing' debut
New signing Omar Marmoush has labelled his City debut as 'amazing' after Pep Guardiola's side claimed a 3-1 Premier League victory over Chelsea.
The Egyptian’s signing was only confirmed two days ago and he was named straight into the starting team at the Etihad Stadium, where Noni Madueke stroked the visitors ahead after three minutes.
Josko Gvardiol struck us level before the break, with Erling Haaland and Phil Foden getting second-half goals to secure the points.

Marmoush played 74 minutes before being replaced by Kevin De Bruyne and showed flashes of brilliance during his time on the pitch, finding the net in the first period, only to see the offside flag up, and showing guile, poise and confidence when on the ball.
“Yeah, it was an amazing debut,” he said immediately after the game.
“I’m really happy to be here. The debut was really, really nice.
“We won the game and it was a crazy atmosphere out there. I’m so happy to be here.
“Hopefully I will keep going that way. It is just the beginning and here’s to many more wins.”
The 25-year-old also praised the City fans for an amazing atmosphere under the floodlights and touched on the debut of fellow new signing Abdukodir Khusanov.
