Overwatch 2 beta invites come out on April 26th and here’s how to get one

Blizzard has confirmed that Overwatch 2 beta invites will come out on April 26th and you can still try to get an email right now.

It’s been an exciting month of news for the highly-anticipated sequel. Blizzard has given us details of reworks for Orisa and Doomfist, and we will be able to experience their new skills and abilities during the playtest.

The playtest will also include new hero Sojourn, but only a lucky select number of gamers will be able to participate.

Overwatch 2 beta invites will be sent on April 26th and you can only get anemail if you opt-in and sign up on the official website before then.

The above deadline date is confirmed by Blizzard’s community manager, Andy Belford. Said day is also when the PvP playtest will begin.

Know that the playtest is only available for players on PC. Future demos including consoles are planned, but no dates have been shared as of writing.

The FAQ mentions that you will also need a copy of OW 1 to receive access to the closed demo. Unfortunately, not everyone will receive an invite as there is only a limited amount of available spaces. If you do receive an invitation, you will find it in the email associated with your Blizzard.net account on April 26th.
