Paddy Pimblett throws hand sanitiser at Ilia Topuria as MMA stars come to blows ahead of UFC London...

MMA stars Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria were in fighting mood as they came to blows ahead of UFC London.

The two lightweights are competing in separate fights at the o2 Arena on Saturday.

Pimblett is set to fight Kazula Vargas, while Topuria will take on Jai Herbert, but on Tuesday tensions boiled over.

In footage on posted by Topuria on his Twitter page, Pimblett throws a bottle of hand sanitiser before punches are exchanged.

Topuria is quickly pulled away by his security team after a brief skirmish with his rival.

The Georgian wrote on Twitter: “I warned you! This is what happens when you disrespect me and my country! You saw me and wanted to greet me because you s*** your pants… and you should thank my team because of it wasn’t for them separating me, I would have taken your head off.”

Pimblett also took to social media to fire more shots at his fellow fighter.

The Brit said: “6 vs 1 and yous never done nothing gang of b*****”.

In a separate post, ‘The Baddy’ added: “He wanted to act hard a few months ago then tried to act the big b******* today and got hand sanitiser bounced off his head”.
