Paddy Pimblett told he "s*** his pants" in altercation with rival Ilia Topuria
Paddy Pimblett was told that he "s*** his pants" during his hotel room altercation with fellow lightweight Ilia Topuria ahead of UFC London this weekend.
Topuria is in town to face Jai Herbert, while Pimblett will make a triumphant UK homecoming against Rodrigo Vargas, but both men appeared to want something extra early in fight week. The Liverpool native was approached by the Georgian on Tuesday at the fighter hotel before punches were thrown and the pair were dragged apart.
The duo had been going back-and-forth on social media ahead of their meeting, and bottles were thrown before they were eventually separated. But the Twitter beef reconvened after the fact, with Topuria mocking Pimblett for how he acted during the incident.
“I warned you!" Topuria tweeted after the pair's altercation. "This is what happens when you disrespect me and my country! You saw me and wanted to greet me because you s*** your pants…
"And you should thank my team because if it wasn’t for them separating me, I would have taken your head off. This is not twitter, this is real life."
Pimblett has a slightly different recollection of events, telling Topuria that he showed up for a six-on-one encounter. The former Cage Warriors champion claims that he was alone, while Topuria's team can clearly be seen in the video.
"6 vs 1 and yous never done nothin gang of b****es," Pimblett tweeted at Topuria alongside a series of laughing emojis. When a fan replied with a screenshot of the incident, Pimblett jokingly replied: "That’s a screenshot of me slipping a punch."

"He tried to hit me after getting something bounced off his head and I slipped it," Pimblett continued. "Why do you think he’s deleted the insta story already?
"Post the video lad if you have footage, let’s show the world you coming at me and me standing my ground against a full firm of six of you an then you throwing shots that I slip and bounce a hand sanitiser off your head you little worm."
The video that was initially posted has since been deleted from Instagram, but it has recirculated from a number of sources, with neither man appearing to be seriously hurt. Pimblett debuted in the UFC last September with a stunning first round KO win over Luigi Vendramini, while Topuria is a veteran of the promotion.
The Georgian is ranked at No.15 in the UFC featherweight division, the same weight class Pimblett won the Cage Warriors belt in his early career. But he will move up to lightweight for his clash this weekend, and would need to stay up there to face his rival in the octagon.
