'Wasn't the woman I'd married' Rod Stewart opens up on Penny Lancaster's menopause battle

“Because we talk about football and they don’t bring that subject up,” the singer replied. “If they did I would tell them to be understanding.”

Penny added: “You’ll be there for them when they do need that talk.”

Rod questioned: “Some of them should have had that talk by now, shouldn’t they?”

“Yeah but some of the younger friends like my girlfriends I’ve said, ‘I’ll be there for you when you go through it’ and you’ll be there for the guys,” Penny said.
