Pippa Middleton's Wimbledon dress has a very sweet story behind it

Pippa Middletons Wimbledon dress has a very sweet story behind it
Pippa recycled a dress for her first outing with Kate Middleton this year.

Florals? For Wimbledon? Groundbreaking, Pippa Middleton. Ok, so Miranda Priestley may have had a point — there are certain occasions (such as, say, spring or Wimbledon) when florals aren't exactly revolutionary. However, there's something else about the latest look from Pippa Middleton that is just a little groundbreaking.

Pippa made an appearance at Wimbledon yesterday, joining her sister, Kate Middleton, and her niece, Princess Charlotte, in the royal box to watch Novak Djokovic take on Carlos Alcaraz in the Men's Final. While Kate opted for a regal purple midi dress in the exact shade of the official Wimbledon colours, her sister went the strawberries and cream route, wearing a fluttery white midi dress covered in a pink floral print.

The dress, designed by Beulah London, featured a pink ribbon-tie waist, a fluttery ruffled detail around the chest and a matching ruffled hem, giving it a feminine, floaty silhouette that was utterly perfect for a sunny day out at Centre Court.

But although the dress may have seemed like it was practically made for Wimbledon, this isn't the first time Pippa has worn it. In fact, Pippa wore the exact same dress while attending the wedding of her brother, James Middleton, back in 2021. It seems that Pippa was making a subtle nod to their brother with her choice of dress. And, of course, we love to see the royals giving their clothes more than one outing.
