Paul Pogba remains a popular figure at Manchester United, at least judging by the latest social media activity amid continued hints over his next transfer move.

The Frenchman re-signed for the Reds in August 2016 for a then-world-record fee of £89million. However, he failed to produce consistent performances during his second stint at the club and left, once again for a second time, on a free transfer in June 2022.

Pogba, subsequently, left Juventus in November despite having his four-year ban reduced on appeal after testing positive for the banned substance DHEA. The 2018 World Cup winner is now set to return to football in March and has been linked with a move to several clubs, including his former team.

Marseille, where his ex-teammate Mason Greenwood currently plays, are also reportedly interested in securing his services. The player himself has even teased a possible return to M16 by posting a cartoon picture of him alongside Amad Diallo in a United shirt on his Instagram stories.

He then cryptically posted a picture of himself staring out a window with the four words, "Let's see what's coming." And several players, past and present at Old Trafford have shown their support for the 31-year-old on Instagram.

Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Victor Lindelof, David de Gea, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard are among the past and present United stars who have liked some of his recent posts.

Former United striker Louis Saha has, meanwhile, recently thrown his support behind Pogba's return to Old Trafford. "Paul Pogba has unique qualities," he said back in December.

"He's a box-to-box midfielder, something Manchester United's squad lacks right now. Paul training with top players again could help him get back to his best."

Addressing concerns about Pogba's wages, his compatriot added: "Forget about the salary. I'm sure Paul is ready to find a compromise. He just wants to play football after being side-lined for so long."
