Post Malone performed his rendition of 'America the Beautiful' during the pregame festivities at Super Bowl LVIII.

It’s “America the Beautiful” but with a twist.

During Sunday’s Super Bowl LVIII pregame festivities, Post Malone performed a soft, acousticrendition of “America the Beautiful.”

Sporting a brown blazer and light washed jeans, the rapper and singer sang the lyrics to the iconic anthem in a melodic tone. Singing through his grills, Malone displayed his vocal range as he also strummed along on his guitar. During his performance, cameras panned to Taylor Swift hugging Blake Lively in one of the Allegiant Stadium’s $2.5 million luxury suites in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Malone teased the performance several days before the Big Game in an interview with Billboard, saying he often sings it “at the top of my lungs.”

“I sing it all the time, like, randomly in my most patriotic moments. It’s a song that’s always in the back of my head, and if I’m playing games or just walking around, I’ll sing it at the top of my lungs,” he said. “So I’m very excited — and I’m definitely 100 percent not nervous at all to sing it in front of millions of people at the Super Bowl.”

The singer revealed he worked with collaborator Louis Bell to make tweaks to the patriotic classic. “I’m just gonna sing my heart out the best I can and give America — no matter how shitty it is — the love [this song] deserves,” he added. Post’s performance was accompanied by it being performed in American sign language by model-dancer Anjel Piñero.

Malone will also feature in a Super Bowl ad for Bud Light during Sunday’s game, where he stars alongside Peyton Manning.

While the native Texan is a Cowboys fan, Malone is expected to cheer for the Chiefs. He once revealed that he got a tattoo of Travis Kelce’s autograph on his arm after losing a beer pong bet to the Kansas City tight end.

Post is one of three performers for the pregame, alongside Reba McEntire, who will sing the national anthem, and Andra Day, who performd “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The Super Bowl officially incorporated “America the Beautiful” into the pregame section of the football game beginning in 2009.

Babyface sang “America the Beautiful” last year, while Jhené Aiko did so the year before.
