All eyes were on Luke Littler when the teenage darts sensation reached the final of the World Championships, and his new and old fans alike will be eagerly awaiting his Premier League Darts debut.

Littler was just 16 when he made his incredible run at Alexandra Palace, beating the likes of Raymond van Barneveld and Rob Cross en route to the final. He came up short against Luke Humphries, but still earned a career-best payday for getting as far as he did, and now has an immediate chance for revenge against Humphries in Cardiff.

The Warrington star, now 17, has the chance to better that £200,000 prize if he goes all the way on his Premier League darts debut. There's a top prize of £275,000 at stake, as well as weekly prizes, with a total pool of £1million to be split between the eight competitors.

Littler earned his place off the back of his Ally Pally run, describing it as the "opportunity of a lifetime". Here, Mirror Sport gives you the lowdown on how you can watch Littler's debut.

When is Luke Littler's Premier League Darts debut?

Luke Littler will take on Luke Humphries in his first ever Premier League Darts match on February 1. The match will be the fourth of four quarter-finals at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff.

The first of the four matches is due to get underway a little after 7pm. Littler and Humphries are expected to begin their game around 8.40pm, but this will depend on the speed with which the other three ties - starting with Rob Cross against Peter Wright - are completed.

What channel is it on?

All the action from Premier League Darts' opening night will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Arena. Sky subscribers will be able to live stream the action via SkyGo on supported devices.

Quarter-final fixtures

Peter Wright v Rob Cross, Gerwyn Price v Nathan Aspinall, Michael van Gerwen v Michael Smith, Luke Littler v Luke Humphries. All quarter-finals, as well as the semis and the final, will be best of 11 legs.

What is the prize money?

Each weekly winner will pocket a £10,000 prize, while earning points towards the overall standings. The top four players in the standings after 16 rounds of league matches will progress to the semis, where they will lock up at least £85,000 on top of any weekly earnings, with the overall winner taking home £275,000.

“It will be right up my street and I can't wait," Littler said after earning his spot. "Obviously Manchester and Liverpool are very close to my home town (Warrington) and I'm looking forward to the magnificent Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Cardiff, Brighton... it's going to be an amazing experience.

“Playing darts week in, week out, in front of tens of thousands of fans, against the world's best players, is a dream come true. I'm looking forward to the Mercedes-Benz arena – it's massive and they have a nice crowd over there in Germany.

“It might be lively in Cardiff if I end up playing Gezzy there on the opening night when he gets the crowd on his side but it will be an amazing experience and a good test for myself. But that's the nature of the Premier League – I've just got to do what I do and show why I'm there every week.”
