Prince Harry Comments On Meghan Markle Divorce Rumours
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no strangers to vicious gossip and tabloid attention. But this week, Harry put paid to the rumour about the couple that has swirled most persistently: that they're divorcing.
Speaking at the New York Times' 2024 DealBook Summit this week, the 40-year-old addressed the continuing speculation – with a certain amount of exasperation. 'Apparently we've bought or moved house 10, 12 times,' he said, per People. 'We've apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it's just like, what?'

Continuing to comment on the subject, Harry explained how he deals with negative press attention and trolling. 'It's hard to keep up with, but that's why you just sort of ignore it. The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls,' he continued. 'Their hopes are just built and built, and it's like, "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes," and then it doesn't happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do.'
He even acknowledged that these comments themselves would likely be 'spun or twisted', adding that his interviewer Andrew Ross Sorkin might be 'trolled relentlessly'. He closed his thoughts with a joke, however, lightening the mood by saying: 'For that, I can only apologise, but you did invite me, so it's not my fault.'
As well as rising above trolls, Harry added that his 'main goal' is 'being the best husband and dad that I can be' to his son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3, who he's raising with Meghan in Montecito, California.
