The Crown season 3: What did Olivia Colman struggle with the most? 'The hardest thing'
Netflix will be dropping its third series of The Crown on November 17 with fans getting 10 more episodes of the royal drama. The latest outing will see a fresh cast playing older versions of the Royal Family. Taking on the lead role will be Olivia Coleman as Queen Elizabeth II, replacing Claire Foy. Season three will be tackling some big events in the life of the monarch including the Aberfan disaster, the breakdown of her sister Princess Margaret’s (Helena Bonham Carter) marriage and the doors of Buckingham Palace opened up to the public as well as her Silver Jubilee. The 45-year-old opened up in a recent interview about some of the challenges during filming on the Netflix series. She admitted she found it hard to keep her emotions in check during the shoot, particularly the more sensitive and poignant storylines.
