Stunning late strike from Scott Brown defeats United

Raith Rovers beat Dundee United 2-1 in a dramatic Friday night match at Stark's Park to close the gap on the cinch Championship leaders to just one point.

In front of a sell-out crowd of 7,923, Zak Rudden gave Ian Murray's men an early lead but Louis Moult headed the equaliser six minutes before half-time.

Rovers captain Scott Brown, on as a substitute, found the net with an incredible effort from 30 yards with two minutes left as the home side earned a crucial victory.
