Rangers vs Celtic LIVE!
Ibrox will be rocking for the penultimate Old Firm derby of the season this lunchtime. Just one point separates Celtic and Rangers in the race for the Scottish Premiership title, although today’s hosts will have a game in hand to come in their bid to end their Glasow neighbours’ league supremacy.
Philippe Clement has done a superb job lifting the Gers back into the title picture after their poor start to the season, the Belgian winning all-but two of his Premiership matches since the start of December in a fight where even the slightest of errors can be punished in a big way.
Celtic have won both Old Firm games so far this season, with Kyogo Furuhashi the derby hero on both occasions and, despite there being no away fans in this fixture once again, Brendan Rodgers’ team will fancy their chances. Follow Rangers vs Celtic with Standard Sport’s live match blog!

Celtic are out the tunnel first and they get the ball rolling for the second half of this Old Firm derby.
Celtic could be even further ahead
12:58 , Marc Mayo
With 11 shots to just three, the stats underline how dominant Celtic have been - not in terms of territory but in their ability to create chances.
Still, they will know that Rangers cannot be that bad for much longer and another goal will be needed to secure the win.
Boos from the home fans
12:52 , Marc Mayo
Story continues
Philippe Clement has a big job to do at the break.
Basically all of his midfield and attack have been off the pace, bar the busy Cyriel Dessers. He’ll surely make some changes.
There’s been very little to get excited about for Rangers fans, who booed their side off.
Half-time!

Advantage Celtic, in a big way, at the break!

Rangers 0-2 Celtic | 43 mins
12:44 , Marc Mayo
A hefty stream of blood pouring out of a cut on John Souttar’s face, which is said to have come from a collision with a teammate. It means he’s absent for a corner, which Joe Hart tips over his own bar.
The second ball is in cleared.
Watch Matt O'Riley's Panenka penalty
12:42 , Marc Mayo
It takes some chutzpah to do that in this game.
He’s just been booked, too.

Rangers gift the ball away in the middle third and Kyogo Furuhashi’s shot is denied by a desperate block.
Rangers 0-2 Celtic | 40 mins
12:41 , Marc Mayo
Fabio Silva is writhing in, quite frankly, ridiculous levels of ‘agony’ after a clash with Alistair Johnston.
He got a palm in the face, which is of course a foul and a booking, but VAR isn’t interested in a red and Silva bravely soldiers on.
Rangers 0-2 Celtic | 38 mins
12:39 , Marc Mayo
Nicolas Kuhn’s low cross is spilled by Jack Butland and he only just nabs it off Kyogo Furuhashi’s toe.
Celtic look the most likely to score the next goal here and there are boos coming from the home fans.
Rangers 0-2 Celtic | 36 mins
12:37 , Marc Mayo
Greg Taylor very nearly picks out Kyogo Furuhashi at the far post and Ibrox, with no away fans, is in near-total silence!

Penalty to Celtic!
12:33 , Marc Mayo
John Beaton will have to decide if Connor Goldson’s arm is in an unnatural position.
After only a few moments, he says penalty!

Connor Goldson’s elbow connected with the ball in that move and VAR is having a look...
To the screen goes the referee!
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 32 mins

SAVE!
Lovely work from Daizen Maeda to dribble left to right and dance through challenges, before a cross is swung in towards Matt O’Riley and Jack Butland makes a great stop!
Rangers fans are getting right on the back of their team as another ball in then leads to a scramble, which Butland grabs.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 29 mins
12:29 , Marc Mayo
England manager Gareth Southgate watching Jack Butland and, who knows, maybe James Tavernier from the Ibrox executive box today.
Joe Hart, formerly of Three Lions pastures, collects a long ball forward and Rangers have to rebuild again.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 26 mins
12:27 , Marc Mayo

Celtic this time with a big opening but Jack Butland denies Daizen Maeda his second of the game.
The visitors are refusing to go away and an effort from range drifts just wide.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 24 mins
12:25 , Marc Mayo
CHANCE!
Corner for the hosts after James Tavernier slips a free-kick towards Fabio Silva’s run.
It looked to have been overhit so a bit of an unexpected second chance.
In it swings and Connor Goldson heads over! Big opportunity, he didn’t connect cleanly from five yards out.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 21 mins
12:21 , Marc Mayo
A first yellow card goes to Nicolas Kuhn for a cynical pull of Dujon Sterling’s shirt after the German got beat for pace.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 19 mins

For the second time, Kyogo Furuhashi pushes Jack Butland all the way in chasing the keeper down.

Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 17 mins
12:18 , Marc Mayo
Nicolas Kuhn fashions to shoot after cutting in from the right wing, but his effort is blocked.
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 13 mins

Super pass from Reo Hatate sets Daizen Maeda free down the left but Kyogo Furuhashi is just behind the cross.
There are plenty more goals in this game...
Rangers 0-1 Celtic | 11 mins
12:11 , Marc Mayo
Rangers have gotten a foot on the ball and a few niggly fouls are being conceded by the visitors.
Cameron Carter-Vickers is lucky to avoid a booking for kicking the ball away - it’s clear the referee is keen to keep his cards pocketed for as long as he can.

Well. Ibrox tries to rally the home team but there are already cries of anguish as Celtic come forward again.
A cross drifts into touch.
It looks like that goal may have come from James Tavernier kicking a clearance into the attacker after a long ball over the top. Wild.

Brendan Rodgers insists he's happy with Old Firm referee
11:48 , Marc Mayo
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is adamant he has no issue with John Beaton refereeing Sunday's cinch Premiership title showdown with Rangers, despite his withering assessment of the official's performance the last time he was involved in a Hoops match.
The Parkhead boss ended up with a one-match touchline ban for his comments following the 2-0 defeat at Hearts last month after saying he had witnessed "incompetence" from the officials.
Beaton was on VAR duty that day and was namechecked by Rodgers after a match in which he played a part in flagging up the incidents that led to the sending off of Yang Hyun-jun and then a penalty award against Tomoki Iwata.
Rodgers, however, insisted he was "comfortable" with the choice of referee for Sunday's Old Firm derby at Ibrox.
"These games are for the top referees and I've always said that John Beaton is one of the top referees in the country," stressed the Hoops manager at his pre-match media briefing on Friday afternoon.
"He's been allocated the game, I'm comfortable with that. He's refereed games that have been there before.
"My point (after the Hearts defeat), like I said before, was for that one game. I wasn't talking about John Beaton's career as a referee.
"My gripe was on that day. They will feel they have to appoint someone who is experienced and John is one of the top, experienced referees in the country."
Asked if he expected Beaton to be under extra pressure because of the fallout from Celtic's defeat at Hearts, Rodgers said bluntly: "Don't know. Not interested. Only interested in Celtic."

Nerves not a factor for Rangers boss
11:37 , Marc Mayo
Philippe Clement is excited rather than nervous about Sunday's keenly-awaited Old Firm game at Ibrox.
It is the first of eight remaining league fixtures for the Govan side, who are desperate to wrest the title back from Parkhead and it is the first home Glasgow derby for the Belgian boss.
Asked if there were any nerves from within heading into the game, Clement said: "No, I love it. I'm not nervous, I'm excited about it, I'm looking forward to it.
"This is something you need to embrace, not be nervous about. These are great afternoons.
"I have a lot of confidence in my squad and I have a lot of confidence in our fans so those are the challenging moments because you play against a good team who will do their best to beat you and there will be a lot of quality from both sides.
"It's the only way also to grow as a player, to have challenges, to have tough games, to play against good opponents.
"If you make the next steps into that you go to another level and that's what I want to do with this club and with the squad next season - to become better and to raise the level time after time with a lot of success and maybe some disappointments along the way because that's also the way to success. To learn lessons out of that.
"I prefer to have success on Sunday, let's be clear about that."

The warm-ups are underway at Ibrox and we only have half an hour to wait for the Old Firm derby to start.
Positivity key for Conor Goldson
11:25 , Marc Mayo
Connor Goldson claims there is "a lot of happy boys" in the Rangers dressing room as they look to strike a Scottish Premiership title blow against leaders Celtic.
Philippe Clement's side have taken 30 points from 33 since losing 2-1 to Celtic at Parkhead in December and defender Goldson believes confidence is high.
He said: "I think we are in a good place, we have been on a good run of form over the last few months.
"The manager has been here now for a longer period of time and the boys are settled with that and learning from him every day has been good.
"The group has come together more as a whole group, a lot of players have been used over this period and there are a lot of happy boys in there.
"We just need to continue what we have been doing, work hard every single day and hopefully that gets us to where we want to be.
"Obviously we go into it treating it as a must-win game but at the same time, I still think it is not going to decide anything."
Rewind: Ibrox triumph for Celtic
11:17 , Marc Mayo
Celtic have won both Old Firm derbies so far this season and Kyogo Furuhashi was their hero on the blue side of Glasgow earlier this season.
No Callum McGregor in the Celtic XI
11:05 , Marc Mayo
Brendan Rodgers had provided an update on the Celtic captain’s fitness on Friday.
The Hoops have been hindered by injuries to key men throughout the campaign and Luis Palma has failed to make the squad today.
Callum McGregor has been sidelined for the last four matches with an Achilles issue sustained in the 7-1 win over Dundee at the end of February.
"We'll do one final run with Callum tomorrow in our last session but he's done remarkable to be back, he's way ahead of schedule from what we thought," said Rodgers.
"It just shows you his professionalism and how hard he's worked so he'll be involved in the squad, and if he is, then it's great news for us in every capacity because we'll have a clean bill of health, really, for probably the first time this season. But we'll make a final call on that tomorrow.
"He's the type of player who can probably get by at 80 per cent. He has that level, that quality. But you also have to think about the fact there are remaining games throughout the season.
"It's just about being logical and finding out where he's at with all his tests and measurements. He's been training, and clearly his quality is there, but we just have to gauge whether he starts, whether he comes into the game or what involvement he has."
Two big calls from Philippe Clement
10:59 , Marc Mayo
Dujon Sterling gets the nod over Borna Barisic at left-back for Rangers.
And the hosts have also opted for Tom Lawrence over Todd Cantwell in the heart of their 4-2-3-1 formation, and it will be interesting to see which of the Welshman or Scott Wright is used out wide.

Cool heads must prevail, says Brendan Rodgers
10:13 , Marc Mayo
Brendan Rodgers has called on his Celtic players to maintain cool heads when they run out at Ibrox against title rivals Rangers.
The Hoops are a point above Gers, who have a game in hand, so the outcome of this weekend's derby is likely to have a significant bearing on the outcome of what is shaping up as the tightest championship race since the Light Blues' financial implosion more than a decade ago.
However, Rodgers has told his players to focus fully on playing football and not the potential ramifications of victory or defeat.
"It starts with the whole build-up," said the Hoops boss. "I think it's important not to get entrenched in the whole storyline because at times the storyline can be that 'it could a disaster'.
"But for me the storyline is that there is always opportunity. You arrive, you stay calm and you just look to focus on your performance.
"This is one of the greatest, most iconic games in world football but you've got to perform and you can only do that by staying calm and looking to play your football."
Clement: Ibrox clash 'not a decisive game' in title race
09:59 , Giuseppe Muro
Rangers manager Philippe Clement insists today’s game will not be decisive in the title race.
"Whoever wins is not the champion,” he said.
“I don't want mathematicians in my dressing room - I want passionate players who give their best every day for their team and that's what I've been seeing.
"We have another Old Firm game in a few weeks also, so it's not yet a decisive game.”
Prediction
09:52 , Giuseppe Muro
Philippe Clement has overseen a remarkable turnaround since taking over at Rangers.
It seemed inevitable that Celtic would win the title when he replaced Michael Beale in October and Celtic led by seven points.
Clement has changed the mood at Ibrox but Rangers have managed just two wins in the last 10 Old Firm clashes, and and Brendan Rodgers has a superb record against Rangers.
Celtic to win 2-1.
