Amid Ukraine's ongoing war with Russia, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have pledged to match $1 million for Ukrainian refugees. As per the latest update, Russia and Ukraine will begin peace talks today at 3.30 pm.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has left the globe worried. While the attack is steadily evolving, explosions and sounds of bombing have been heard. Amid the crisis, thousands of Ukrainian natives are forced to leave their homes and flee to neighbouring countries for help. Hollywood celebs Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have stepped up against the current situation. They took to Twitter and pledged to match $1 million for Ukrainian refugees.

RYAN REYNOLDS, BLAKE LIVELY PLEDGE TO MATCH $1 MILLION

After thousands of Ukrainians were left homeless amid the Russian invasion, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have promised to match $1 million to assist the refugees. Taking to Twitter, Ryan wrote, “In 48 hours, countless Ukrainians were forced to flee their homes to neighboring countries. They need protection. When you donate, we’ll match it up to $1,000,000, creating double the support (sic).”

Blake Lively posted a heartbreaking photo about the current state of refugees and wrote, “@vancityreynolds and I are doubling every dollar donated to @usaforunhcr up to $1,000,000 link in bio to donate @usaforunhcr is on the ground helping the 50,000+ Ukrainians who had to flee their homes in less than 48 hours. @usaforunhcr is providing life saving aid, and also working with neighboring countries to ensure protection for these families (sic).”
