Scotland v Australia on Amazon for free How to watch autumn international
Gregor Townsend's Scotland take on the Wallabies in their second autumn international, but the match won't be free to watch on terrestrial TV

Gregor Townsend's Scotland side will be bidding to prove themselves when they face an in-form Australia side on Sunday afternoon in Edinburgh.

The Wallabies are on a five-match winning streak while the Scots, who won away to England and France during this year's Six Nations, head into the Murrayfield encounter off the back of a thumping 60-14 win over Tonga last weekend.

While many fans will be watching on from the stands in the Scottish capital, plenty will be tuning into the action at home via Amazon Prime Video.

Seventeen of this year's Autumn Nations Series' 20 internationals are being broadcast exclusively on the streaming giant's platform behind a paywall - including all of Scotland's games - but if you've timed it right you can actually watch all the action for free.

How can I watch Scotland v Australia on Amazon for free?

First thing's first, you could be eligible for a free Amazon Prime trial which would give you access to all of the autumn's international matches for free.

That is via a free 30-day trial, after which new members would be charged £7.99 per month. You can sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial here.

Be careful with the free trials, though, as customers are only eligible for a free trial of Prime every 12 months.

If you decide you don't want to continue with Amazon Prime beyond your free trial ends, just cancel before your 30 days is up. If you forget, you will then be charged.

As for existing Prime members, all the coverage is available at no extra cost.

Alternatively, you could get an Amazon Prime Video-only subscription for £5.99 per month, without the other Prime benefits.

What about live streaming Amazon's rugby coverage?

Rugby fans can watch Amazon's coverage online or via the Prime Video app through live match coverage, replays, highlights and match clips through smart TVs, mobile devices, Fire TV, Fire TV stick, Fire tablets, games consoles, on Virgin’s V6 TV Box, the Talk Talk TV set top box, Apple TV, Chromecast, BT TV or online.

You can find a full list of compatible devices here.

How to set up an Amazon Fire TV Stick

  2. Plug the Fire TV power cable into a plug socket
