Sheree Murphy's real-life from Emmerdale fame to marriage with ...
Sheree Murphy, best known for her role as Tricia Dingle in ITV's Emmerdale, first graced our screens with a small yet memorable part as a female mugger in the 1996 Christmas episode of Only Fools and Horses titled "Heroes and Villains". She then joined Emmerdale in 1998 and remained a key character until 2004.
Her character, Tricia Dingle, was involved in numerous dramatic storylines, including various romantic entanglements within the village, before falling for Marlon Dingle, portrayed by Mark Charnock. The couple tied the knot on-screen in 2003, but their relationship hit a rough patch when Tricia left to star in a Bollywood film, only to return and discover Marlon's affair with a distant cousin.
Just when it seemed their romance might be salvageable, Tricia was tragically caught in a storm that destroyed the pub she worked in. After being airlifted to hospital, she was declared brain dead and subsequently died from a cardiac arrest.
These days, Sheree's life is far removed from her drama-filled days behind the bar at the Woolpack. She has swapped acting for motherhood and is now living a dream life with her family.
She is a proud mum to four children - son Taylor, and daughters Ruby, Matilda and Doll - all shared with her ex-footballer husband, Harry Kewell.
Sheree met the Australian sports star while still working on Emmerdale. Their paths crossed at the Majestyk nightclub in Leeds back in 2000.
After hitting it off and exchanging numbers, a romance quickly developed between the pair, culminating in their spontaneous Las Vegas wedding two years later in May 2002.
After taking a break from her career to raise her family, Sheree returned to the screen in The Royal before landing the role of Eva Strong in Hollyoaks.
She then participated in the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2005, where she narrowly missed out on the top spot, finishing second to Carol Thatcher.
Following her successful run on the reality TV show, Sheree ventured into presenting and hosted several episodes of This Morning alongside former host Phillip Schofield.
Sheree will be back on our screens on Chrismas Eve as she takes on fellow soap legends in Channel 4's The Great Christmas Bake Off.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 at 7.30pm and available to stream from 7am on ITVX
