Nick Frost and Simon Pegg delighted fans on Tuesday as they shared social media snaps of themselves after enjoying a reunion lunch together.

The best friends and comedy partners, who have starred together in films Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, The World's End, and Paul, as well as iconic sitcom Spaced, could be seen smiling as they sat alongside each other during a meal on Monday.

Nick, 49, ensured he caught the eye of his followers in a mustard FILA T-shirt while donning stand-out gold rings and bracelets. He captioned the image on Twitter: 'Just having a nice lunch at mine yesterday with @simonpegg. Just a lovely day.'

'You two make me feel like a sad little fanboy that wishes we could hang out. Spaced, Big train, Hot fuzz. Etc etc... thanks for the content guys, I've grown up on it,' wrote another fan.

Meanwhile, another person begged: 'For God's sake do another movie together,' while someone else wrote: 'Ugh, off to watch Hot Fuzz for the millionth time now.'

'Please do another comedy together soon, because you guys are outstanding actors and hilarious in everything you've made to date!', wrote another fan, while another posted: 'My two favourite actors… nothing like best friends to make the world move.'

Nick and Simon have their own production company and meet regularly behind the scenes.

The duo first began working together on Channel 4 sitcom Spaced, before they starred in Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy: Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and World's End, and they recently starred together in last year's Truth Seekers.

Despite running their own company, the pair spent time apart during lockdown and Nick recently admitted he hugged Simon for an hour when they reunited when Covid restrictions were eased earlier this year.

He told the Metro this summer: 'We did a little film shoot the other week about people who have been friends for a long time and I hadn’t seen Simon for about a year, physically.

'They wanted to see us being tactile and we just cuddled for half an hour. It was amazing. We felt like we’d been through hug therapy and it felt nice being held by another human being other than my partner and children.

'I’ve missed that a lot because I’m a hugger. It’s made me feel very detached from humanity.'
