Nick and Simon have their own production company and meet regularly behind the scenes.
The duo first began working together on Channel 4 sitcom Spaced, before they starred in Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy: Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and World's End, and they recently starred together in last year's Truth Seekers.
Despite running their own company, the pair spent time apart during lockdown and Nick recently admitted he hugged Simon for an hour when they reunited when Covid restrictions were eased earlier this year.

He told the Metro this summer: 'We did a little film shoot the other week about people who have been friends for a long time and I hadn’t seen Simon for about a year, physically.
'They wanted to see us being tactile and we just cuddled for half an hour. It was amazing. We felt like we’d been through hug therapy and it felt nice being held by another human being other than my partner and children.
'I’ve missed that a lot because I’m a hugger. It’s made me feel very detached from humanity.'
