Guglielmo Vicario, Mikey Moore, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert remain sidelined alongside defenders Ben Davies, Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, while Rodrigo Bentancur continues his suspension in the Premier League.
Jan Bednarek, Paul Onuachu and Adam Lallana are all back available for Southampton following spells on the sidelines.
Alex McCarthy is also fit, while fellow goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is reportedly ‘very close’ after a finger injury.
Gavin Bazunu, Ross Stewart, Juan Larios and Will Smallbone are long-term absentees for the hosts.
