People in Scottish town enjoy 'brilliant' St Andrew's Day ceilidh

A number of people shared videos on Twitter/X of people in the town enjoying a giant ceilidh – with similar footage of the town also going viral last year.
Writing on social media, adviser to John Swinney Olaf Stando said: “Happy St Andrew’s Day everyone, from St Andrews.

Many others also shared their own footage with one joking they were being “thrown around like a lunatic” but that they were “loving it” at the event.
Independent councillor for the Bannockburn ward Alasdair MacPherson meanwhile simply commented “brilliant”.
