Sort Your Life Out viewers threaten to contact Ofcom if Stacey
The final instalment of this season's Sort Your Life Out saw Stacey Solomon and her team clear three generations of a family's clutter.
Sort Your Life Out viewers were adamant Stacey Solomon could not get rid of a woman's beloved doll as the final instalment of the decluttering show aired. The popular presenter and her team were charged with challenge of sorting out three generations of clutter for the Wellan family on the BBC show.

Mum and dad Shirley and Martin, have been married for 44 years and have lived in the house Martin grew up in for most of that time. The house was full of memories, pictures and sentimental items, and is also where they bought up their adopted daughters, Sarah and Katherine.

With such a rich history the abode was in desperate need of clearance. However, when it came to Shirley's decades old "creepy doll" which was nestled amongst 306 soft toys taken from the house, viewers became emotional and threatened to call Ofcom if they got rid of it.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @83VickiB said: "I was ready to write to Ofcom if they binned the doll! #sortyourlifeout." @MartGray was also team doll, writing: "Let the lady have her doll, for goodness’ sake! #sortyourlifeout."

@Suzy_H14 opined: "I think they need to keep the doll #Sortyourlifeout." @sundaygirl851 agreed, saying: "Bring the doll back #sortyourlifeout." @Sturdygirl0803 suggested a show mash up, commenting: "Take Shirley's doll to #TheRepairShop! #SortYourLifeOut." Meanwhile @Suzy_H14 chimed in: "Well they had to keep the doll #Sortyourlifeout."

At the end of the show Stacey presented her with it much to Shirley's delight.

When the cameras revisited the home a month later she wa still over the moon to have her treasured childhood toy back showing that it held pride of place and sat beside the couple.

Shirley and Martin were hoping to foster children now that their daughters have flown the nest. They also wanted space for their grandchildren to stay.

Stacey and the team completely trnasformed the property and Shirley admitted she was much happier since clearing the clutter.
