The collection will be released on PC, PS4/5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and Switch.

Aspyr Media has announced the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection for consoles and PC, which will allow fans to play the first two Battlefront titles online alongside new content and cross-gen play.

  • On Wednesday, a trailer for the long-awaited collection was released, showing off the beloved shooters in action on modern hardware. It will be released on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 14.

  • In terms of visuals, everything looks identical to the original releases, albeit in higher resolution. All of the content remains intact, including both sets of single-player missions and local split-screen.

  • The re-release also includes new bonus content, such as heroes Asajj Ventress and Kit Fisto, as well as several maps for both games.

  • Online multiplayer has also been added, with up to 64 player battles, full cross-gen play between Xbox One and Series X/S, and PS4 and 5, and all of the classic modes, including Heroes and Villains.
