ST HELENS darter Stephen Bunting cruised into the quarter finals of Paddy Power World Darts Championships with a 4-0 win over Luke Woodhouse.
The eight-seed was always in command , with an average of 96.78 with six maximums as he denied his opponent anything resembling a toe-hold in the game.
The huge crowd favourite will now play Peter Wright, conqueror of World Champion Luke Humphries, in Wednesday's last 8 battle.
Bunting said: "It is weird because all day I felt so nervous but I don't want to let anybody down and the fans were again tremendous and really did get me through the game.
"I didn't feel like I played my best but they really helped me get over the line.
"We can do this.
"I have a day off and I am going to prepare and expect to play the Peter Wright that was there yesterday.
"I am really looking forward to it."
