Channel 4 Sunday Brunch fans call for Tim Lovejoy's replacement host to stay

Sunday Brunch fans have called for Tim Lovejoy's replacement host to stay on the show.

The regular host was replaced by Miquita Oliver on the Channel 4 show today (Sunday, February 20).

Miquita co-hosted Channel 4's Popworld with Simon Amstell from 2001 to 2006 and went on to present on T4 from 2006 to 2010.

She joined Tim's co-host Simon Rimmer in the studio and viewers seemed to love her presenting style.

Some even called for her to be a permanent addition to the show.

Old Edward wrote: "A much warmer interview technique with Miquita #SundayBrunch,"

Adam said: "Wow #SundayBrunch Is so much better without Tim."

Am P commented: "@miquitaoliver it’s always great to see you on #SundayBrunch instead of Tim ‘Look At Me’ Lovejoy, it’s great to hear from guests and not just what Tim has to say & him laughing like a hyena, conversations going somewhere rather than rambling @timlovejoy watch and learn bro."

And Maria added: "So happy Tim’s off and @miquitaoliver is presenting! #SundayBrunch."

But others were missing Tim.

Marjorie asked: "Just me missing Tim then? #SundayBrunch."

And Harry said: "as much as i like this miquita bird, i think i prefer tim lovejoy's complete indifference to his guests #sundaybrunch."
